2012-01-04: Ludwigsburg (GER), Rockfabrik
Tour Diary
After we had already tasted blood at the first two gigs in Pirmasens and Augsburg, the new year started in Ludwigsburg, where we finally continued with the second leg of the tour.
The great Rockfabrik, that we had played in before during a previous tour with Van Canto, made us want to play a proper metal show already because of its cool rock club interior and the nice atmosphere. We were on fire for sure!
And yes, Ludwigsburg was burning! Apparently, a few hundred people had been looking forward to the second leg of the tour just as much as us. Incredible choirs from the audience gave proof for that, as well as the well-received performance with Inga, who once again supported us during “Stardust”. Oh, and during “Vortex”, we could even notice the first signs of a circle pit…
After the show, we once again met a lot of familiar faces from previous concerts at the merch booth, which made us really happy because this means it couldn’t have been all too bad…
Unfortunately, though, first signs of colds arose within the band, which caused us to reallocate the seats on the drive to Osnabrück in order to spare the other members of the tour from becoming ill.
But it wasn’t that bad – what would a decent tour be without a decent cold?
