Tour Diary
After an incredible tour start in Pirmasens, we are in Augsburg now. None of the bands has ever played in that city before, so the expectations are big. 450 tickets were already sold in the presale – and later we are told that over 600 (more exactly: 665!) souls answered our call. Great premises for an ingenious show! And yes, it is just like that: Augsburg rocks!
The audience really wants to see all bands and makes us feel more than welcome from the beginning – we appreciate it by giving our very best throughout the whole set.
Today it is a lot of fun onstage! It seems that now everyone of us kind of knows what he is doing (and what he should not do) and doesn’t always have to rely on his band mates… And the people from Augsburg carry us through the show with a lot of joy. By the way: Our CDs are now sold out – we have to reorder quickly.
And of course – if you are on tour with Van Canto, it stands to reason to catch Inga for a performance of “Stardust” – a true highlight in the middle of the set! The Augsburg people are happy about this small surprise. Later on, Inga and Bastian once again meet at the piano in order to finish the evening with “Master Of The Wind.”
Afterwards, we’re all coming out, as usual, to meet all the rocked faces of the fans. The feedback is great, we refuel and then leave the city in the next morning with the thought in mind that the audience in Augsburg was so great that we definitely need to come back soon!
For now, though, we are taking a short break in order to continue the tour in Ludwigsburg in the new year!
