2011-12-28: Pirmasens (GER) – Quasimodo
Heya, the time has come – we spend our first day of the tour at the Quasimodo in Pirmasens, and once again we are accompanied by Van Canto and Orden Ogan – a post-Christmas family meeting, so to speak.
Many people in the audience think like that and so we have a fantastic time onstage in that night. The Quasimodo is as packed as never before and as soon as the first note is played it is clear: This will turn out to be a great show!
Above all we want to play this tour in order to present us as a new quartet. With Daniel Schmidle, we have won over a really skilled pianist (and keytarist) who gives us the opportunity to act a lot more flexible in musical terms. And yes, this mission can be accomplished – Daniel is a valuable addition for the ear and the eye (also because he has built his instrument completely by himself!). Last but not least he also brought a little more transparency into our handiwork by writing down the notes of all songs off the Pandemonium EP, resulting in our first song book that we can now proudly offer to you guys.
At the end of the Van Canto show, the piano is set up onstage once again, and Bastian accompanies Inga for the final song “Master Of The Wind” – a successful ending for a great tour start… Now we’re heading to Augsburg!
